Philly Cheese Steak Factory in Augusta

I debated going between 2 & 3 stars for this place. Here's my honest review. The cheesesteak was nasty. It was chopped bland meat that had so much cheese it was like trying to eat queso that had gotten cold. The fries were sparse and dry as all outdoors. That being said the staff was great she had a fantastic personality. Also the lemon pepper wings were excellent. Honestly staff & wings I'd give a 4 the philly and fries a -1 that's how I landed on 2. Hopefully it was just a bad day. I'll definitely come back for the wings when I'm in the area again.

The food is good; however, the customer service is AWFUL. The young boy at the counter needs to be trained on how to properly interact with guests. He is rude, curt, and socially awkward. For the amount of money paid for this food, the level of customer service should match.

This was great. I don't normally eat a whole sub but I did today because it was amazing.

The 1 on Peach Orchard Road is Absolutely AMAZZZZING! Especially the CheeseSteak's, Pink lemonade, and the lemon mist pound cake!

Wish I could have given a NEGATIVE 🌟!! My order was completely messed up and they wouldn't remake it. On God they was slow and I ask the lady what was going on she said.. she had just taken a strong pill!! 😳 😒

Cashier yarn twice without covering his mouth. The dessert that come with the Falcons package is the size of a quarter. The wait was 40 minutes

It's not the king of steaks but it satisfies my cravings for authentic Philadelphia cheesesteak. Service was good too.

I don't usually like Philly Cheesesteaks... I also rarely finish a meal. This pace is an exception. 8" was the perfect size, delicious, not too heavy, not saucy, stayed together (enough) Phenomenal sandwich. Shaved ice hugged the spoon like a custard and the flavor filled your mouth. Service was a little weird

The sub and pink lemonade was pretty good. I just didn't like the fact the fires didn't have any seasonings. This definitely a place to stop to if you want a different kind of sub like you would get from Firehouse or Subway.

The ONLY reason we came here was because Jackie M’s was closing early. So here we are. You had your SICK non-manners having kid working the counter. No telling what the back was like because we couldn’t see your health grade. We simply asked what do you put on your cheesteaks and you turned around and asked us what we wanted and everything is an extra charge. 1. We had a large order, money wasn’t the issue. 2. Money is spendable everywhere, you’re not entitled. 3. Atlanta (where we’re from) would never. Pathetic service.

Service was hella fast, Philly Cheese steak great and the Tea was sweet.

This is one of my favorite spots in Augusta. The owner is so sweet and speaks to everyone to make sure all is well. I always order the steak and mushroom hoagie. I've also had the wing combo, which is also great. Whatever you get, don't forget your pink lemonade!😋😋😋

The young man who took my order used a updated menu that was different from the one on the counter where I ordered. The food was ok it just took a while to get get there were only 2 people working during the lunch rush. U waited 30 minutes out of my hour to get my food

VERY rude staff that took our order. Terrible first impression. Food was mediocre, no seasoning or flavor on the Philly or fries. I am very much into promoting new local businesses, we try to frequent new small businesses often to spread the word we find local gems. This is NOT one of those. Excuses leave no room for solutions. Our order was jerked back from us on the way out of the door as a woman told us WE were wrong. It took a lot just to get our order....our full order. Bought a Philly special but when the time came to give us our food the staff was rude and argumentative. Even after proven wrong they continued to be unnecessarily rude.

Love, love, love the Philly cheese steak! Second time visiting and was not disappointed! Met Ms.LaLa and was blown away by her! What a wonderful spirit, made us feel at home. Tried the pink lemonade and truly was a treat! Will be back!

My husband and I split a 12in, and neither of us finished it. The wings were awesome. The lemonade is real real lemonade! Very much enjoyed myself, price is steep but very much worth it.

I remember now why I haven't eaten here in 6 years. No professionalism on the register. Food is mediocre at best. Ordered 3 combos, 2 with banana peppers. Got home and all 3 had them. Food was cold., even though i live 2 minutes away. Fries were made in old oil. Even had to remind dude to give me the included drinks and even then he only gave me 2 and I had no choice in the flavor of drink. If there was a rating of negative 0, they'd have earned it. Never again will I frequent this business. Took 5 minutes to walk out the door cause the stickiness of the floor was pulling my slides off.

Good food, only problem they gave me chips when I ordered fries. Lost a star on that one

Service was horrible! The boy that took my order was very rude! The back room where we ate was very very dirty. The cleaned the tables with of brand windex 🤔. The food was like a 2 out of 10 the best Food they had was the French fries! I would no go here again.

Young man hit a home run with his customer service probably 20 years old, what a great attitude promoting your business

I have never had a bad meal from this place. I love their food and I love the service I get. They are humans and occasionally get things wrong but they're always willing to fix it and make sure you have a pleasant experience. I absolutely love the Philly cheesesteak factory

Best Philly Cheese Steak you will ever find. PLENTY of meat and cheese. It is one of those local hole in the wall places that you should seek out. It is not pretty but it is tasty and clean.

I visited the cheesesteak factory with high expectations. I ordered a chicken philly with mushrooms and bacon and a side of fried wings and fries. What I received was a cheesesteak sauce and canned mushrooms and imitation bacon bits. Plus I didnt realize the sweet tea was $5!! With .50 refills. I could have went to several other restaurants and received better quality. The customer service was nice but I wont be back.

We were not pleased. The wings were tiny tiny and very hard and dry. The cheese steak which is supposed to be their specialty had cheeses sauce the roll was cold. Then we didn't get fried with our combo and we went and told them that they forgot to give us our fries. The you man that worked there asked for the bag and then came to the table to see if we her gotten fries but we're hiding them. Seriously, never again!

This place here boy I ain't sure... Years ago the number 2 philly steak would feed two people now it's more bread then meat and the price has went up from what it use to be it's now 13.00 for a 12 inch. The floor was sticky. And I guess it's the owner son who don't look old enough to be working is just sloppy with service. But I have to say the steak is still as good as always just not sure worth the price

First time going & never will good back again. Food was great but the speed of device is awful. Order was messed up & then it took another 15 minutes to get my food. Customer service is awful.

I travel from Atlanta to Augusta just to get my sandwich. My sandwich was good as always. The only reason why I gave 3 stars is because the service was not that great at all. It took me over 20 mins to place my order the young man at the register doesnt need to take orders and you have to double check your change.. my daughter first time there she got frustrated and did not want to order anything.. I never had that problem before. Dont know if I will be returning

Absolutely love this place! Philly cheesesteaks are my all time favorite! My husband and I would go A LOT more, but the prices are more of a special occasion place for us.

I am not sure if today was bad day or not however the food that we ordered had canned mushroom no fresh veggies such as peppers or onions. The meat had now flavor and for some odd reason my sandwich had mayo on it which was not mentioned when ordering. How do you offer chip or fries and the only chip is plain flavored. The lemonade was so sweet it needed to be cut with water to attempt to enjoy it, We will not in any way form or fashion ever go back to this place to eat for lunch.

I drove a long way for this & it is THE BEST cheesesteak I’ve ever put in my mouth. Five stars is not enough!! Deandre (I can’t remember his name) was AMAZING & his parents (which I believe were the owners) were incredible and I promise you I’ll be back!!!!!! FANTASTIC is not a great enough word to describe this place. See for yourself! 💕

Augustas best kept secret except I am telling everybody.. I come from Chester so if you claim your can make a Philly Cheese Steak then I am going to step up and call you on it.... Not only was I so wrong but I am so happy to be eating my words! The food is awesome and make sure you wash it down with some of Ms La La famous pink lemonade.

When I placed my order, there was a young boy at the counter. He jumped into the chair and asked for my order. I replied "a sloppy poppy". He didn't say anything until I asked what my total was. He then replied $16.45. I looked up at the menu and asked how when the menu says $11.25. He then said "Oh" and started to say something about the size as if to justify the initially quoted price, but then just punched in something to the register, gave me a couple confused glances and then gave me a total of $12.15. I paid and then sat and waited. Once he called my ticket number and motioned for me to grab the bag, I did and left. I arrived home, unwrapped the sandwich only to realize that he'd given me a plain steak sub even though I'd paid for more. The sandwich looks more like hamburger meat than chopped ribeye in my opinion. I'm way too tired to drive the 20min back there to resolve this so I'm gonna chuck it up as a loss. Doubt I'll come back here honestly.

I WILL NEVER ORDER FOOD FROM HERE AGAIN! Horrible slop of a mess. Slow service..Husband ordered 2 chicken philly. They forgot the lettuce and tomato. It was more mayo than chicken. Bread wasn't toasted. If my hubby hadn't told me it was chicken, I would've thought I had a tuna melt. Husband told me they were being unprofessional. There was fussing and arguing going on in the back between employees and owner or whoever cursin eachother out. It was so bad that people were walking out. IF I CAN GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! & I dont want no reply from the owner. Instead the owner need to take these reviews and do better cuz I could care less for a smart response.

Bit of a wait for my cheesesteak with jalapeños, but considering the number of staff and how many customers they had coming in and out I’m surprised they helped me as fast as they did. Drove home and even after the 15 min drive the bread wasn’t soggy, it held up really well considering all the saucy cheese. Super delicious and the staff was great.

Visited the Philly Cheese Steak spot after not having been for a few years. The sandwich was not as I remembered but was ok never the less. They can definitely work on the speed of service or having someone at the counter to greet the customers. Ms. La La was the sweetest as we were leaving she offered us free brownies and offered casual conversation.
